Description
The Dyno Amp Meter works on all the VRP Dynos,1.0, 2.0, and 3.0.
It reads in milliamps, not amps. For example 50 on the meter = .05 amps, 200 = .2 amps, 447 = .447 amps etc. Reading in milliamps provides a more accurate current reading for precise tuning of the car.
Why is it important to know the current draw of the car?
Two cars may read the same speed on the dyno, however the car that draws the least amount of current will most likely be faster on the track because the motor and gear train has less drag, and is
more efficient. The following factors affect how much current is drawn.
